How to Use Resevis

Use Resevis to research an ecommerce product from a product URL, product images, or both. The report can help you evaluate market demand, competition, pricing, SEO opportunities, risks, and product viability before you make a business decision.

Before you begin: Report sections, image analysis, tool access, and monthly limits depend on your subscription plan. Resevis provides research signals—not a guarantee of sales, demand, or profitability.

Create your account and sign in

Create an account, verify your email address, and sign in. You can begin with the Free plan or select a paid plan when you need additional analyses or features.

Save and analyze a product

  1. Open Product Submission.
  2. Enter a product-page URL, upload product images, or use both. Image analysis is available only on plans that include it. You can upload up to five JPG, JPEG, PNG, or WEBP images at a time; each image creates its own product submission.
  3. Select Save Submission. The product will appear under Your Product Submissions.
  4. Optional: use the pencil icon to add a product description of up to 100 words. Include the product type, intended customer, key features, materials, or use case.
  5. Select Analyze Product when you are ready to use one analysis from your plan allowance.

Uploaded images are retained securely for analysis and deleted after a successful initial analysis. Your saved submission and report remain available.

Wait for the analysis to finish

Resevis identifies the product and prepares the research included with your plan. Keep the page open while analysis is running. Processing time can vary with the source material and the external market-data services used by the report.

Understand your results

Your completed report may include the following sections when they are enabled for your plan:

Product overview

Product title, category, target audience, and the source used for analysis.

Market assessment

Demand, competitive pressure, positioning, and feasibility signals.

Pricing guidance

Suggested pricing plus available competitor averages, low and high prices, and ranges.

Competitor insights

Comparable listings, competitive advantages, differentiation ideas, and possible market gaps.

SEO and growth

Relevant keyword ideas and potential growth opportunities for listings and campaigns.

Risk and trend insights

Potential challenges, marketplace engagement evidence, and trend observations.

Turn the report into a research decision

Compare the sections together instead of relying on a single result. In particular, review:

  • Whether demand signals support the product idea
  • How crowded the competitive landscape appears
  • Ways the product could be differentiated
  • Whether the likely price range supports your costs
  • Risks, seasonality, and operational challenges
  • Keyword and positioning ideas worth validating

Confirm important findings with current supplier quotes, marketplace data, advertising costs, platform fees, and your own customer research before investing.

Manage submissions and history

The Submission Dashboard shows your submissions and counts for pending, completed, and failed work. Filter by status, demand, competition, or analysis type, then open details, analyze, re-analyze, or delete a submission.

Completed History lets you revisit completed reports. Free users see All History. Paid users start on Current Subscription and can switch to All History.

Re-analyze a completed submission

Select Re-Analyze on a completed submission to refresh its market-based insights using the saved product identification and available competitor data. If current competitor data is unavailable, Resevis retains the existing report and explains what could not be refreshed.

Re-analysis consumes one analysis from your current monthly allowance. Create a new submission only when you want a separate record or need to analyze a different URL or image.

Best practices for useful research

  • Use a direct product-detail URL instead of a store home page or broad category page.
  • Upload clear images that show the entire product; multiple angles can provide better context.
  • Add a concise description when the image or URL does not make the product's purpose obvious.
  • Treat pricing and marketplace observations as time-sensitive and verify them before acting.
  • Use several report sections together and compare multiple products before choosing an opportunity.
